A little about South Africa

Did you know that the King Protea  is South Africa's national flower? It also happens to be one of my favorites! How pretty is this though? I've had two king proteas in a vase for over a year. I'm constantly surprised by how they evolve from very vibrant and colourful buds to something that lives on beyond the months because even though they grow dry after a while, they can still make a stunningly beautiful decorative piece.
