What would you like me to talk about?
One of the many reasons why I decided to start a blog (again) was to learn from you, my followers, as much as you may want to learn from me. I gave my sister-in-law a copy of my ebook to review. I asked her to give me her thoughts on what she thinks may be beneficial to explore in the books that I will write in the future. She gave me a lot of ideas. A lot of practical ideas and topics, which I believe many of you will find educational and useful. Since my book is yet to be released, feel free to drop me a note to share your thoughts. What topics would you like to have covered and discussed in the future? What are your travel plans? How are they going? What are some of your challenges? Let's tackle them together. I can't call myself an expert but I've traveled enough to have a fair amount of experience and knowledge to share.
Hi. Thank you so much for this blog as it brings hope to some of us who have been longing to travel but didn't know where or how to start. How do you chose your countries? Is there any criteria that you use, for example safety cost time etc. What do I look for as a first time traveler?
ReplyDeleteThank you.
Hi Mogirl 😊Great Question! This is where most people get stuck - Where should I go?!??? I mean there are 294 countries in the world after all and that in itself is a lot to wrap one's head around...😀. My simple answer is, start with places that are most popular because chances are they are popular due to the appeal they have to a large number of people and as such, the likelihood of you liking those places is quite high. The most visited countries in the world have generally remained at the top of the list because year after year, scores of people return to these places, reaffirming the reasons why they're on the list to begin with. Search the net for 'Top 5 most visited countries in the world'. If you're looking at exploring Africa then search 'Top 5 most visited countries in Africa'. From these lists then look closely into the reasons why these places are popular then go with the one that appeals more to your taste. You can always work around the time or cost factor. You first need to establish what you like and the kind of experiences you want. What did you have in mind? What kind of experience are you looking for? I'm happy to help further. I've also covered this topic in detail in my upcoming book. So, stick around to learn some more.
